This page explains how you can delete your Savidhi account (operated by VAIDIK VIKHYAT ASTRO PRIVATE LIMITED) and the personal data associated with it, what is removed, and what we are required to keep. This applies to the Savidhi mobile app and savidhi.com.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account in either of the following ways:
- In the Savidhi app (fastest): open the Profile tab, scroll to “Delete my account”, tap it and confirm. Your account is deactivated and your personal data is anonymised immediately, and you are signed out.
- By email: from the email address or phone number registered with Savidhi, write to support@savidhi.com with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove or anonymise your personal information, including:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your profile photo and profile details (gotra, date of birth, city/state);
- saved delivery addresses and family / devotee details on your profile;
- your login sessions and push-notification tokens (you will no longer receive notifications).
Your account is deactivated and can no longer be used to sign in.
What is retained, and why
For legal, tax and financial-compliance reasons under applicable Indian law, records of completed transactions (bookings, offerings and payments you have already made) are retained in an anonymised form that is no longer linked to your personal identity. We do not retain your name, contact details or profile after deletion. Anonymised transaction records cannot be used to identify or contact you.
Timeline
- In-app deletion: your personal data is anonymised immediately upon confirmation.
- Email requests: completed within 30 days of verification.
