Temple Significance
🛕Haridwar Tirth Kshetra, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India
According to Hindu tradition, Haridwar is one of the places where drops of Amrit (nectar of immortality) fell during the Samudra Manthan, making it one of the four sacred Kumbh Mela sites. For centuries, saints, sages, and devotees have visited Haridwar to perform sacred rituals, charity, and spiritual practices, making it one of India's most revered pilgrimage destinations.
