About this Puja
Shivaya Swaroop Shanidev Puja & Rudrabhishek is a sacred Vedic ritual performed at the Shani Temple, Haridwar to seek the combined blessings of Lord Shani and Lord Shiva. The ritual includes Rudrabhishek, Vedic mantra chanting, and a personalized Sankalp in your Name & Gotra to pray for auspicious results during Shani Dhaiya, Mahadasha, and planetary transits, while inviting peace, protection, stability, and success.
Temple Significance
🛕Shani Mandir, Haridwar Pilgrimage Region
Lord Shani is revered as the "Great Teacher" and the "Lord of Karma," responsible for delivering rewards or punishments based on one's deeds. History suggests that Shani Dev is the son of Surya (the Sun God) and Chhaya. The significance of Shani temples lies in the belief that offering prayers, especially on Saturdays, helps mitigate the effects of Shani Sade Sati or other astrological challenges.
