Badrinath Brahma Kapal

Badrinath Dham is a major Hindu pilgrimage destination in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Brahma Kapal, located near Badrinath Temple, is traditionally regarded as an important sacred site for ancestral rites, Shraddha and Pind Daan. Situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River, the sacred area has a long-standing tradition of performing Tarpan and Pind Daan for departed ancestors. According to traditional beliefs, ancestral rites performed at Brahma Kapal hold special spiritual significance.
